ICIC

International Cultural Immersion Club

WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT ATC HAS

A PERMANENT WORLD CULTURE CLUB

ICIC

International cultural immersion club

Which meets every Monday from 4:15 to 5:30 pm

In Mrs. Becker’s room 205

The goal of ICIC is to offer exposure to the world and its cultures – giving students a chance to learn more about other countries, their peoples, languages, customs and traditions.

We hope to help broaden student’s world view through joyful experiences with people and traditions from different countries, thus coming to appreciate the many ways that people around the world are alike.

We have 21 members

We have 2 major projects planned for this school year:

  • We will have an international week at ATC march 3 rd through march 7 th – with student work, cultural displays and food from all over the world during lunch
  • CEIT cultural educational immersion travel in march/April 18 foreign language students will travel – to visit and give presentations at our Partner School in Wallduern Germany and then learn and travel in Switzerland, France and Italy -

EUROPE UPDATE, PICTURES TO COME!

Europe, Blog 1-

everything so far is going great - our students are impressing everyone - the flight crew complimented us on their behavior and our visit with the ambassador was a smashing hit - everyone at the ambassy was impressed with their deportment - they were truly outstanding the way they introduced themselves, their questions and attention were superb - our school was put on positive alert at the ambassy and knowing that the ambassador has strong relations to NM this is a plus.
