Love in Vain Blues

Blues is an African-American musical style that is believed to have originated around 1900 in the region known as the Deep South, especially East Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Blues music is often characterized by use of a 12-bar form, an AAB lyrical formula, and the frequent use of "blue notes" such as the b3, b5 and b7 scale degrees.

Robert Johnson

Robert Johnson (1911-1938) was a famous blues musician from Mississippi who made many famous recording in 1936 and 1937, shortly before he died at the tragic age of 27. He was a big influence on later blues musicians, including British rock stars Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones.
