Next Step Plans

The Next Step Plan (NSP) is a personal, written plan that is developed by each student at the end of grades 8–11 and during their senior year (grade 12), and it is a requirement of state law.

The purpose of the NSP is to target each students’ postsecondary interests (after graduating from high school), and set forth the future studies to be completed during high school in order to be on track for graduation.

Students will review and update their Next Step Plan each year, and each year’s plan will explain any differences from the previous year’s Next Step Plan.

The Next Step Plans are completed in the Level All platform and should be signed by the student, the parent, and the student's College Crew advisor.

Contact Ms. Gardner (rhonda.gardner@atcschool.org) or your student's College Crew advisor if you have questions.
