We are excited to announce that we have hired our very own Mrs. Kit Standridge as the Director of Student Success and Academic Services. Mrs. Standridge has been a teacher and a leader at ATC for 7 years. Her dedication to our community is immeasurable.
In her new role, she will work closely with juniors, seniors, and their families as they prepare for college and post-secondary journeys. She will also lead our College Crew program, providing support to teachers as they craft curriculum and work as advocates for their students. In addition, she will be registrar and co-facilitator for standardized testing.
To this role, Mrs. Standridge brings a proven track record as an educator who cares deeply about students. She excels at developing strong relationships with them, their families, and colleagues alike. In addition, she has been a department leader and spearheaded our bilingual seal and mentoring programs as well as summer school. Her skill at communicating with stakeholders, organizing complex systems, and leading the people in them with intention, care, and high expectations will transfer well to her new role.
