She consistently checks in on grades, offers meaningful guidance, and encourages students to pursue their goals with confidence. Many shared that during their lowest moments, Ms. Bakevich is someone they can talk to—she listens, understands, and helps them see life from a new perspective.
Her students admire her for being chill, fun, and kind, while also being an outstanding educator—especially for her impactful work with HOSA.

“Jayme is a fierce advocate for his friends and brings encouragement and joy to the ATC community every day. His enthusiasm was on full display at Battle of the Bands, where he supported his peers as photographer, manager, publicist, and their proudest fan. He finds genuine happiness in lifting others up, making him an outstanding member of our community.”

🎓 We’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on Miguel Cisneros, our very own ATC alum, who has been awarded the Jim Hudak & Sally Silvia Scholarship from Kids’ Chance of America! Through this four-year, $10,000/year scholarship, Miguel is now embarking on his journey at the University of Arizona, where he plans to study Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
Miguel’s story is one of resilience and purpose — having lost his father in a workplace accident, he’s turning that loss into motivation to give back. Read more about his journey and this amazing opportunity below ⬇️
